RIPOLL Jordi

Bio

Jordi Ripoll began his musical education in his hometown, at the Instructive Music Society Santa Cecilia de Cullera (Valencia) . He continued his studies in Madrid, where he earned a bachelor's degree in music at the Royal Conservatory. During the course of his career he has always been closely linked to wind orchestras.  Currently, he is the solo bassoon of the Bilbao Municipal Band and a member of the chamber music ensemble "Ventus Sine Nomine". In his role as arranger and composer he has written a large number of transcriptions of orchestral classics for band, as well as his own compositions of various genres, mainly dedicated to wind ensembles.
