Gettysburg is a 1993 American epic war film about the  Battle of Gettysburg (July 1–3, 1863) during the American Civil War (1861-1865).The main title-theme of this film, depending on how it's presented and played, can depict exaltation, or sadness, or ferocity, or celebration, or dignitarian pomp, or an intimate recognition like love. It spans, in other words, the entire gamut of human emotions--all except boredom.The "Gettysburg" soundtrack is authentically great music, and like all great music it stands by itself, fully enjoyable even without reference to the movie.
