Vallflickans dans from Bergakungen

In 1917 Alfvén composed music for the ballet 'Bergakungen'. Alfvén himself considered this work as one of the best he had ever wrote. The most well known part from this ballet is the 'Vallflickans Dans' (Herdmaiden's Dance). José Schyns transcribed this movement for Symphonic Band in which the first clarinet section does have a virtuoso contribution.
